There are two types of alerts: Event triggered alerts and Scheduled time triggered alerts.

Event Triggered Real-Time Alerts
Event triggered alerts react to predefined database events such as low inventory levels, an abnormally expensive PO, a late employee, changes to a customer's credit status, or any business event that warrants additional review. ALERTS! notification messages include real-time data directly from Axapta providing your team with the knowledge that they need to take immediate action when critical business situations arise.

Scheduled Alerts
ALERTS! is ideal for keeping your team informed with real-time data that they need to maximize performance. Scheduled alerts conveniently send progress summaries relevant to the individual's position via SMS or E-mail. ALERTS! for Axapta puts actionable information in their hands, allowing more time for managing performance, instead of managing the process.

ALERTS! for Axapta: Methods of Communication
Information rich ALERTS! notifications are created with live variable data and are sent via E-mail or SMS to individuals internal or external to the company. Because ALERTS! is a true Axapta module, internal notifications can automate the creation of CRM/BPM Actions & Activities within Axapta.

E-mail and SMS Notifications
ALERTS! can send both E-mail and SMS notifications. These notifications, which support standard text as well as variable data from Axapta, can be sent to both individuals and groups. Additionally, E-mails support: To, CC, and BCC addresses, file attachments and priority flags.

Automatic CRM/BPM Activity and Action Creation
ALERTS! supports business processes by automatically creating CRM/BPM activities and actions in real-time when business events occur, or at a pre-defined time and frequency. For example, you can have ALERTS! automatically create follow-up activities whenever a new customer is created.
