The Commissary Solution automates the entire order placing process. Offenders place their commissary requests through commissary order kiosks or via scanned OMR forms. The system automatically connects to the DOC and checks the inmate's trust balance for adequate funds and validates the inmate's current delivery location. Once validated, the system audits the order for compliance against established purchasing guidelines and/or restrictions.

Product level classifications allow you to enable or restrict any item by inmate status, sex, quantity purchased or other constraint of your design. Group level item classifications allow further control over your inmate's buying patterns by limiting the purchase of an excessive number of items out of any given group. For example, prohibiting an inmate from submitting an order comprised entirely of candy.

Because order catalogs can vary greatly from facility to facility, the Commissary Solution provides the ability for each member facility to create its own "approved for purchase" catalog of commissary products based on the full offerings of the commissary. With just a few clicks, these custom catalogs can be converted into an "OMR Ready" printed form, eliminating the need to purchase or warehouse boxes upon boxes of preprinted, and possibly dated, order forms.

Because the solution requires that shift workers are logged into the system, completed order accountability is a simple task. Routing of completed orders includes grouping instructions to facilitate the delivery process. Packages are delivered to the destination facility pre-grouped by wing, block, cell or bulk commissary for easy and orderly distribution.
